Resume

Shane DuBow is a writer/editor, teacher, filmmaker, and corporate consultant who specializes in immersion reporting, interactive storytelling, creative ideation, and strategic problem solving. He has written for magazines, produced and directed documentaries for radio and TV, created podcasts, edited blogs, developed websites, and, weirdly, managed museum openings. He is currently at work on a memoir about how he came to stand asbest-man at the wedding of a bank robber who once held a gun to his head.

Supervised creation of nature-related multimedia exhibits and online content, including websites, podcasts, blogs, audio and video documentaries, video games, and 3D slide shows. Highlights included concept development and production oversight for “Lawn Nation: Art & Science of the American Lawn,” PNNM’s first ever self-produced major exhibition, and “The Little Green People Show: Sound Advice on Green Living,” a weekly podcast and daily blog on sustainable urban living. Documentary Filmmaker, Towers Productions, 2003 – 2006
Directed, produced, wrote, and copy-edited TV documentaries for A&E, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Outdoor Life Network, and The National Geographic Channel. Highlights included directing and producing the two-hour feature, “Facing Life: The Retrial of Evan Zimmerman,” and directing, producing, and writing the one-hour special, “Countdown to an Execution,” both for A&E (full-time)
